Well-known chefs Paul and Pam Sturkey featured a premium house dressing in their Cincinnati restaurants. It garnished so much acclaim that guests were bringing their own containers to purchase the dressing for home use. In 2002, the Sturkey’s launched their own product line, and soon after, their signature dressing was named “Best of the City” by Cincinnati Magazine as Cincinnati’s Favorite Salad Dressing.
In 1918, local butcher Phil Hock began selling his family’s recipe mock turtle soup in his meat shop. The soup became so popular that he decided to stop selling meat and focus solely on his soup. He called his company Worthmore, and it’s still family-run to this day.
